Inclement weather at Thompson International Speedway on Sunday, May 19, forced the postponement of the day’s racing events that were to include the Modified Racing Series (MRS). After completing qualifying for nearly all of the NASCAR Weekly Racing Series divisions and a single heat race of the three scheduled for the VMRS Modifieds, a persistent drizzle turned steadier; ending any attempts at feature racing.
The Modified Racing Series portion of the event has been cancelled. Details on the make-up for the Weekly Racing Series will be announced at a later date.
