In an effort for Mountain Speedway fans to get a bigger bang for their buck, track management has decided to implement schedule changes, which will be effective immediately and run through the remainder of the 2013 season.

Following the Sport Modified feature on June 1st, the points for that division have been frozen. Moving forward, Sport Modified division has been removed from the weekly schedule and the drivers are asked to compete with the Modified division, which the track will now host on a weekly basis (with the exception of June 22).

The Late Model, Street Stock, Factory Stock and Four Cylinder divisions will also be a part of the regular card of racing each week, with the exception of the Late Models being off on June 22.

Drivers in the Factory Stock and Four Cylinder divisions will not be required to run a track Hoosier tire and D.O.T. tires will be allowed.

The remainder of the 2013 speedway schedule is available for viewing by visiting www.mountainspeedway.com and clicking on the schedule link.

For the next week of racing at Mountain Speedway, the track is extending an invite to all 2013 graduating high school seniors to visit to the track and enjoy FREE grandstand admission. School I.D. is necessary for entry.

Mountain Speedway is just minutes from Hazleton, Pa, located on St. John’s Road, between Routes 93 and 309. Grandstand admission for all regular events is just $12 for ages 11 and older. Children 10 years of age and younger are admitted for free. Active military and veterans receive a $2 discount of grandstand admission (must show ID).
