After swapping the race lead with Jason Hearne several times, Jimmy Zacharias of Candor, NY stayed in front over the remaining four laps to score his first Modified feature victory Saturday night at Mountain Speedway. Chris Burge of Mountaintop took his second Street Stock win of the season and Matt Mattern, Jr. of Mountaintop notched his third Factory Stock victory of the year. Scott Adams of Lake Ariel continued his Four Cylinder domination and notched his ninth victory of the year. Adams also competed in the Four Cylinder Enduro and went on to take his second victory of the evening and first ever Enduro victory. Three-time Enduro champion, TJ Kapish of Mountaintop, led flag to flag en route to the 6/8-cylinder Enduro win.

John Fortin, Jr. led the Modified field to the drop of the green flag in the 30-lap main event. Jason Hearne overtook him for the lead before a lap was complete and dropped to second in front of John Fortin, Sr, Wayne Szerencsits and Brian DeFebo.

Fortin, Jr. took the lead on the next circuit and DeFebo climbed to third behind Hearne. Fortin, Sr. battled back on DeFebo and the pair ran side by side, which allowed Jimmy Zacharias to close in.

Two laps following a quick yellow on lap seven, Hearne grabbed the race lead. Another yellow flew three laps later when Fortin, Sr. got into DeFebo to turn him around in turn four. Both drivers were forced to restart from the tail end of the field.

When green flag racing resumed, Hearne held the point with Fortin, Jr, Zacharias, Chris Young and Geary Rinehimer, Jr. in tow, but the caution flag flew when Rinehimer spun in turns three and four on lap 13. Two more lap 13 yellows followed, one of which involved DeFebo and Young.

When the green flag came back out, Zacharias, who had previously climbed to second on lap 11, grabbled the lead. Hearne fought back to retake the lead on lap 14.

Zacharias and Hearne ran side by side for many laps before Zacharias completed the race-winning pass on lap 26. It was Zacharias’ first victory at the speedway.

Hearne was forced to settle for his second straight runner-up finish, followed by Fortin, Sr. DeFebo crossed the stripe in fourth and was penalized for spinning Young in the final corner of the last lap. Fortin, Jr. and Amber Fortin completed the top five.

Heat race victories went to Brian DeFebo and Jimmy Zacharias.

Bernie Uphold led the Street Stock field to the drop of the green flag and led the opening lap over Charlie Castiglione, Randy Schlenker, Kevin Higgins and Brian Wozniak. Schlenker moved into the second spot and with four laps complete, Wozniak grabbed third from Castiglione.

Following a lap five yellow flag, which involved Chris Burge and Castiglione, Schlenker ran second behind Uphold. That all changed on the restart when Schlenker grabbed the lead. Higgins, who had restarted in fourth, quickly moved to second and began to challenge the new leader.

With Schlenker leading the way on lap 13, Higgins made his move and took the top spot. It appeared that he was on his way to his third straight victory, but that all changed when he slowed and then spun with five laps remaining. The change of events gave the lead back to Schlenker and Higgins headed to the pits for service.

Green flag racing resumed with Schlenker leading over Burge, Wozniak, Castiglione and Uphold. As the top four battled hard for the lead and following some fender rubbing on the backstretch, Burge came out with the lead. He stayed out front over the final laps to score his second win of the year. Higgins battled back for third, followed by Schlenker, Wozniak and Castiglione.

Kevin Higgins and Randy Schlenker were heat race winners.

Stephanie Moyer started from the pole position in the 20-lap Factory Stock feature but Matt Mattern, Jr. led the first lap. TJ Kapish ran third with Dan Pawlicki and Kendall Foulk in tow.

As Mattern checked out from the rest of the field, Pawlicki grabbed third and then battled for second with Moyer.

Mattern held on to take his third win of the season in the caution-free event. Moyer edged Pawlicki for second. Kapish and Del Morgan completed the top five.

Stephanie Moyer and Matt Mattern, Jr. scored heat race victories.

After starting from the pole, John Banashefski led the first circuit of the 20-lap Four Cylinder feature over John Smith, Jay Skupski, Harry O’Neill and Scott Adams.

Within two laps, O’Neill climbed to third and then overtook Smith for second behind Banashefski. Three laps later he moved into the lead.

Following a lap six yellow involving Smith and Frank Hughes, Adams climbed to second on the restart. With eight laps complete, O’Neill left the bottom groove open and Adams took advantage for his shot at the lead. With ten laps complete, Adams led over O’Neill, Banashefski, Skupski and Larry Spencer III.

O’Neill stayed within a car length of the leader the rest of the way, but it wasn’t enough for Adams, who took the checkers for his ninth win of the season. Banashefski finished third, followed by Skupski. Jen Adams overtook Spencer in the closing laps to finish in fifth.

Scott Adams and Harry O’Neill claimed heat race victories.

Mike Harding led the Four Cylinder Enduro field to the drop of the green for the 50-lap event. Harry O’Neill didn’t waste any time and grabbed the lead. Scott Adams followed through to take second.

With 13 laps complete, Adams had his turn at the lead and O’Neill retook the spot a lap later. The pair swapped the lead seven different times before Adams took the top spot with 11 laps remaining.

Adams took the checkered flag for his first career enduro victory. O’Neill settled for second, followed by Larry Spencer III, Harding and Tony Rispin.

The 6-8Cylinder Enduro drivers took to the track for 50 laps of action and TJ Kapish grabbed the lead from pole sitter, Bill Schwenck. Untouchable from the get-go, Kapish lapped the entire field and cruised to the victory over Schwenck, Joe Stutzman, Frank Katona and Paul Hartwig, Jr.
