Following a three wide pass for the lead, Kyle Harvell of New York, NY checked out from the rest of the field and cruised to his fifth win of the season Sunday at Mountain Speedway. Running a partial schedule this year, Harvell won his fifth straight in six starts. Chip Wanamaker of Walnutport charged to the front and then took the checkers for his fourth Street Stock victory of the year and Del Morgan of Mountaintop grabbed his first career Factory Stock victory. John Banashefski of Wilkes-Barre took the Four Cylinder lead on the final lap to take his second checkered flag of the season and Aleia Geisler of Emmaus visited victory lane in her first Dirt Modified start of the year. Brendon Bock of Franklin Square, NY continued his dominance to claim his eighth INEX Legends feature win.

Frank Hughes started on the pole and led the Late Model field to the drop of the green flag. Kyle Harvell started in the third spot and made a three-wide maneuver off of turn two for the race lead. He led the first lap over Hughes, Geno Steigerwalt, Glen Slocum and Jason Zastko.

With one lap completed, Steigerwalt grabbed second from Hughes and Zastko followed through to take third. Steigerwalt’s great run ended in a big was on lap five when his engine expired on the front stretch. With nowhere to go, Mitch Hawk slid through the fluid that was laid down, as did Mark Tyson. Both drivers suffered major damage and we forced to settle for DNFs.

Green flag racing resumed with Harvell at the point over Zastko. Without a yellow flag to slow the pace over the remaining laps, Harvell cruised to his fifth win of the season over Zastko, Slocum, Hughes and Tony Hilliard.

Mitch Hawk and Kyle Harvell were heat race winners.

Rich Emel led the Street Stock field to the drop of the green flag in the 25-lap feature but Steve Shultz led the first lap, followed by Chip Wanamaker Emel, Nick Ross and Chris Burge.

With one lap complete, Ross took the third spot from Emel and two laps later, Kevin Higgins followed through to take fourth. Meanwhile, Wanamaker hounded Shultz for the lead and with eight laps complete he took the top spot.

Two lap 11 yellows slowed the event and when green flag racing resumed, Wanamaker remained at the point with Ross, Higgins, Burge and Charlie Castiglione in tow.

Higgins and Burge got together in turn two and brought out a lap 19 yellow and it flew a lap later when Ross was forced to give up the second spot because of mechanical woes.

Despite a caution flying with a lap remaining when Higgins and Hilliard got together, Wanamaker held his line and crossed the stripe for his fourth win of the season. Castiglione charged to a second place effort, followed by Shultz and Burge. Owen Grennan finished in the fifth spot, which is the best finish of the season for the thirteen year old.

Heat race victories went to Steve Shultz and Charlie Castiglione.

Del Morgan started from the pole position but Matt Mattern, Jr. led the opening circuit of the 20-lap Factory Stock feature by a bumper. D. Morgan fought back to retake the lead on lap two and the pair raced side by side for several laps.

Paul Morgan, Sr. joined the mix and raced along side of Mattern for second as the laps wound down, while D. Morgan continued to show the way.

The only yellow flag of the feature flew when Mattern spun on the backstretch with four laps remaining. Green flag racing resumed and D. Morgan held his line and then took the checkers for his first career victory. He dedicated the win to his mother, Connie Morgan, who has passed away from cancer six months ago. P. Morgan finished as the runner up, followed by Mattern, Frank Katona and TJ Kapish.

Anthony Pugliese led the first circuit of the 20-lap Four Cylinder feature after starting from the pole position. The initial restart went by the wayside though when Larry Spencer III and Heather Fennell got together in turn one. John Smith was involved as well and forced to the pits without return.

Green flag racing resumed and with one lap in the books, Ray Fennell IV held second, followed by John Banashefski, Scott Adams and Tony Hilliard. R. Fennell had his turn at the lead on lap two and Banashefski and Adams climbed to second and third.

With R. Fennell still showing the way at halfway, Adams and Banashefski battled hard for second, both exchanging the position on several occasions before Adams took the spot.

Adams tried high and low on R. Fennell in the closing laps and with two laps remaining, R. Fennell found himself in a spin cycle. Both drivers were put to the rear of the field for the restart with two laps remaining.

H. Fennell overtook Banashefski for the lead following the restart but Banashefski fought back to earn his second win of the season over H. Fennell and R. Fennell.

Heat race victories went to Larry Spencer III and John Banashefski.

Making her first Dirt Modified start of the season, Aleia Geisler led the field to the drop of the green flag in the 20-lap contest. As the drivers battled behind her for second the entire way, Geisler began to pull away.

Mark Levy made a late race charge and climbed to the second spot but couldn’t run down Geisler to challenge for the lead in the caution-free show.

Geisler hung on to take her first victory in her first asphalt start of the season. Levy was happy to finish in the second spot, followed by Scott Hulmes, Chuck Potts and Darrin Schuler.

Chuck Potts was the heat race winner.

Mike Carroll, Jr. started on the pole and led the first circuit of the 20-lap INEX Legends feature over Brendon Bock and Brad Lowmaster.

In no time at all, Bock moved into the second spot and set his sights on the leader.

With seven laps in the books, Bock reeled in Carroll and took the top spot. He never looked back and stormed to his eighth win of the season over Carroll. With a great run at the end of the event, Rob Silver took the third position over Mitch Dowd and Vinnie Troia.

Brad Lowmaster and Mike Carroll, Jr. were heat race winners.
