With double points on the line for every division, the 2013 driving titles will be settled at Wall Stadium Saturday night. “Downs Ford Champions Night” will see grandstand seating opening at 5:00 p.m., qualifying at 6:00 p.m. and main events at 7:00 p.m.

Modified stock car action will see two-time champion Chas Okerson of Freehold seeking to add a third crown to his impressive resume. Still, Howell’s Eric Mauriello, Holmdel’s Andrew Krause and Brick’s Shawna Ingraham will be among those trying to tally points and taste 40-lap main event glory.

Kevin Eyres of Colts Neck, Andrew Krause of Holmdel, Trevor Alspach of Willingboro and Kevin Davison of Howell will be among the Sportsman drivers to watch in their 30-lap main event and the title chase. In the Factory Stock ranks Ronnie Mullen of Brick will try to hold his ground against last year’s champ Scott Riggleman of Manchester and Tiffany Olejnik of Wall in the 25-lap main event.

Long Island, N.Y. driver Mike Wahl leads Brian Crosby and Cole Ormsbee, both of Wall, in the title chase in the 4 Cylinder ranks and Trevor Alspach of Willingboro is hoping to celebrate the Legend Cars title when the checker flag waves. Brian Doyle of Coram, N.Y. and Bayville’s Mike Tillett are the Limited Late Model title contenders.

The pit area will open at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday and practice will then begin at 3:00 p.m. Spectator seating will open at 5:00 p.m. On track competition will begin at 6:00 p.m. with qualifying events to be followed by six feature races at 7:00 p.m.

The speedway will also be busy on Sunday with the “Small Car Series.” Sunday action starts at noon.

Although the Saturday night regular season ends this weekend, plenty of fall action remains on the schedule. During the day on October 12 the fifth mile “inner oval” will be in the spotlight with the lucrative “War at the Shore.” On October 19 the stock cars will return for the annual “Spooky Spectacular” before the season ends on Friday and Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend with the annual “Turkey Derby.”

Wall Stadium presents professional motorsports events on most Saturdays and Sundays through September and special events in October and November. The speedway is located on Route 34 in Wall Township, N.J., just one mile north of Garden State Parkway exit 98 and Interstate 195 exit 35B. The speedway hotline number is 732-681-6400, while CKMotorsports@aol.com is the track’s email address. More information is also available at www.wallspeedwayracing.com.
