In his first start in the division, Mountaintop’s Ricky Ross, Jr. pulled off an amazing victory in the Dirt modified main.

John Fortin, Jr. started from the pole position and led the opening circuit of the 30-lap Modified main event over John Fortin, Sr, Amber Fortin, Todd Baer and Jimmy Zacharias. With Fortin, Jr. still showing the way and after a quick caution period in the early going, Zacharias overtook Baer and A. Fortin to move into third.

Brian Sones cracked the top five on lap four and then the yellow flag flew five laps later when John Markovic spun in turn four on lap nine.

Green flag racing resumed and following the restart, Fortin, Sr. took the lead. Zacharias followed though to second and then took the lead following a lap 13 caution flag.

Despite pressure from Fortin, Sr. in the closing laps, Zacharias was able to hold off Fortin, Sr. for his second Mountain Speedway victory of the year. Fortin, Sr. settled for second, followed by Fortin, Jr. After coming through the field from an incident earlier in the race, Brian Sones and Todd Baer completed the top five.

John Markovic and John Fortin, Sr. scored heat race wins.

Randy Schlenker started from the pole position and led the opening lap of the 25-lap Street Stock feature over Nick Ross, Chris Burge, Brian Wozniak and Charlie Castiglione. With two laps complete, Burge got by Ross for second and set his sights on the leader. Two laps later Wanamaker overtook Wozniak for the fourth position.

Burge pressured Schlenker for the lead and the end result was a caution flag for the pair as they tangle in turn four on lap five. Green flag racing resumed with Ross as the leader over Wanamaker, Wozniak, Castiglione and Bernie Uphold.

A lap 12 yellow slowed the pace when the hood of Burge’s car let loose. When the race restarted, Wanamaker overtook Ross for the lead. Castiglione got by Wozniak for third and tried to get by Ross, but the pair tangled in turns one and two. The lap 14 yellow forced both drivers to restart from the rear of the field and the turn of events moved Wozniak to second.

The remainder of the show went caution free and Wanamaker held off Wozniak to score his sixth win of the year. Burge, Uphold and Schlenker completed the top five.

Heat race victories went to Randy Schlenker and Chip Wanamaker.

Del Morgan led the Factory Stock field to the drop of the green in the 20-lap feature and was overtaken by Dan Pawlicki before a lap was scored. Rich Paciotti quickly climbed into second and then challenged for the lead.

Meanwhile, Matt Mattern, Jr. got underneath Eric Wink for the fourth position on lap two and then reeled in Pawlicki and Paciotti.

With Pawlicki still showing the way, Mattern moved along side of Paciotti and took the runner up spot on lap 12. The pair ran side by side for second until lap 18.

With Mattern to his outside on the final lap, Pawlicki held off the 2013 champion (Mattern) to score his first career victory. Paciotti, Wink and Morgan completed the top five.

Heat race victories went to Dan Pawlicki and Rich Paciotti.

Justin Hughes led the Four Cylinder field to the drop of the green flag in the 20-lap feature. He led the first circuit over Ray Fennel III and Heather Fennell.

R. Fennell stayed glued to the back bumper of Hughes in the early going and then made his moved just past halfway when Hughes got out of shape in turns one and two.

Untouched to the finish in the caution-free show, R. Fennell took his first win at the speedway, followed by Hughes and H. Fennell.

Heat race wins went to Robert Azarowicz and heather fennel.

Mark Levy led the Dirt Modifieds to the drop of the green in the 25-lap feature but was overtaken by Ricky Ross, Jr. before a lap was complete. A three wide battle took form for second on the backstretch and Rich Coons took second, followed by Chuck Potts and Levy.

Following a lap seven caution, Ross suffered a flat tire, which gave the lead to Coons.

Green flag racing resumed and Coons set sail. Meanwhile, Ross began to make his way through traffic and with 11 laps complete, he got by Potts for third and then set his sights on Levy.

With seven laps remaining, Ross took second from Levy and began to reel in the leader. Coons car began to misfire and with three laps remaining, Ross took the top spot and never looked back as he scored his first Dirt Modified victory in his first start, which means that Ross has went to victory lane in every division in which he has competed in at the facility. Coons settled for second, followed by Levy, Potts and John Cook.

Rich Coons was the heat race winner.

Gary Ham led the INEX Legends to the drop of the green in the 20-lap feature and was overtaken by Allan Pederson for the lead before a lap was scored. Mike Carroll, Jr. ran in second, with Robby Silver, Artie Pederson II and Kyle Soper in tow.
