View Full Version : 10/20/13 - “Halloween Screamer” to Close Out Mountain Speedway’s Season

The final on track event of the season at Mountain Speedway will kick off rain or shine on Saturday, October 26. With double points on the line and with 150-laps slated for each division, the annual “Halloween Screamer” enduros are destined to be a great show for both drivers and fans.

Coming into the 6/8-Cylinder finale, New Jersey’s Scott Riggleman holds a nine-point margin over three time defending champion, TJ Kapish of Mountaintop. Vying for his first career championship, Larry Spencer III of Nanticoke holds a 22-point margin over Mike Harding in 4-Cylinder action.

All of the action will kick off at 1 PM on Saturday. The pit gates will open at 11 AM and the grandstands will open at noon. Grandstand admission is set at $10, and children 10 years of age and younger will be admitted for free.

Banquet tickets are also on sale for the 14th annual awards banquet, which will be held at Best Western Genetti Inn & Suites in Hazelton, PA. Tickets can be purchased at the track office or by downloading an order form at mountainspeedway.com. Banquet doors will open at 5 PM and dinner will follow at 6 PM, followed by award presentations and dancing.

The 2013 track champions crowned thus far are: Brian DeFebo (Modified), Mitch Hawk (Late Model), Kevin Higgins (Street Stock), Matt Mattern, Jr. (Factory Stock), Scott Adams (Four Cylinder) and Brendon Bock (INEX Legends).
