Mahoning Valley Speedway is set to make a return appearance at the 29th edition of the Pioneer Pole Buildings Motorsports Racecar & Trade Show Fueled by Sunoco & Distributed by Insinger Performance which takes place January 10th through 12th at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, Pa.

The popular Lehighton quarter mile paved oval will have a strong presence in this year’s show with five cars making up its display booth.

Inside the track’s exhibit will be the immaculate looking No. 5 Central States/Mahoning Valley Farmer’s Market Modified of two-time division champion Chip Santee. Santee won Modified titles in 2002 & 2007 and has 29 career wins at Mahoning including twice last season.

The prolific Earl Paules, Jr. will have his championship winning No. 8 Ed Spencer Auto Parts/E. Schneider & Sons Inc. Scrap Medal/H & S Trucking Late Model at the show.

In ’13 Paules earned a second straight class title and did so in record setting fashion with 11 feature wins and 13 heat wins, both single season records. His 44 career Mahoning wins is second only to John Bennett on the all-time winners list.

The eye catching “Red Rocket” No. 58 Dirt Modified of Jeff Parker will be displayed. Parker won last year’s Dirt Mod track championship in a down-to-the-wire battle over Ricky Yetter. Both finished the season tied in points but in utilizing the tiebreaker system, Parker was named the champ by virtue of more feature wins, five to Yetter’s three. It marked his career first championship.

Also in the Mahoning space will be Bob Wagner’s Bergelt Options/Williams Auto Body No. 26 Micro Stock. Last season Wagner stormed to his second consecutive Micro Stock Racing Series championship and was virtually unstoppable throughout the year, racking up win after win. He has become the undisputed leader in Micro Stock racing.

Up and coming Gavin Santee will also join the group with his No. x6 Tom Ring’s Brown Daub Kia Slingshot. Santee is making the move to the Slingshots after consecutive championship seasons in Champ Karts at Snydersville Speedway.

He will be on hand to promote the June 29 Mid-Summer Thunder show at Mahoning Valley which will feature the Tobias SpeedSTR’s and Slingshots.

While at the show race teams can take the opportunity to purchase ’14 pit licenses and pit spots. Schedules and rules will be available as well and track personal on hand all three days to field any questions of concerns pertaining to the upcoming season.

Motorsports 2014 offers attendees an opportunity to see just about everything imaginable in motorsports with more than 200 racing vehicles filling more than 225,000 square feet of the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center.

The three day show officially opens at 2 p.m. on Friday, January 10th. Complete show information is available at www.aarn.com or telephone 609.888.3618.

Mahoning Valley Speedway will also have a presence at the NEPA Race Car Show February 10-15 at the Laurel Mall in West Hazleton, PA and the IRCO Dirt Track Heroes Car show, March 2-8 at the Phillipsburg Mall in Phillipsburg, NJ.
