MAHONING VALLEY CHAMPION EARL PAULES READIES FOR THREE QUARTER MIDGET INDOOR RACING DEBUT AT NAPA KNOW HOW ATLANTIC CITY AND BATTLE OF TRENTON; SLINGSHOT AND KART FIELDS ARE FILLING UP QUICKLY

Talented Earl Paules Jr., who raced his way to a second consecutive Late Model championship in 2013 at Mahoning Valley (PA) Speedway, looms large as a dark horse in a talent-laden field of TQ Midget drivers ready to race indoors in Atlantic City’s Boardwalk Hall and Trenton’s Sun Bank Center.

The twelfth annual NAPA KNOW HOW Atlantic City Indoor Races on

Friday and Saturday Jan. 24 and 25 and the first ever Battle Of

Trenton Indoor races presented by PRC Industries/ Angela House Charity

on Friday and Saturday Feb. 7 and 8 will feature TQ Midget, Champ

Kart and Slingshot races with the TQs class the fastest of the lot by

far.

“I’ve been working hard at getting ready for these indoor TQ

races. I’ve been in the gym every night and as much as I can because

I know how physical these cars are and those races as well,” said

Paules.

Paules won twice in 2013 in outdoor TQ Midget action and will

drive the same Drinan chassis car fielded by veteran TQ owner Mike

Roselli, Sr. Roselli’s race-driving son Matt will be among Paules’

rivals.

“Everybody who’s someone will be there and I don’t know what to

expect. I’ve watched a few times but to now to actually be in it and

on the track, it’s going to be an experience,” Paules admitted.

The pair of Indoor events are produced and promoted by Len Sammons

Motorsports Productions and make up the Fatheadz Eyewear Indoor Series.

NAPA AUTO PARTS, the nation’s leader in automotive supplies, has

signed on for the second consecutive year as the title sponsor for the

Atlantic City Indoor Auto Races.

PRC Industries/Angela House Charity have come aboard to sponsor the

first Battle Of Trenton Indoor events.

Fatheadz Eyewear will pay bonuses to the top three overall TQ Midget

receive points based on their qualifying efforts and feature finishes

from Friday and Saturday night at both events towards the overall

series crown.

schedule calls for Twin 20 lap features for the TQ Midgets and a

complete program of Slingshots on Friday, Feb. 7; and a complete

program for TQ Midgets and Champ Karts on Saturday, Feb. 8.

The always exciting, identically prepared built Slingshot

division’s roster for both the Atlantic City and Trenton races has

been boosted dramatically in the past two weeks.

be part of the Trenton action. New England standout driver Ron

Midford Jr., of Tolland, Ct., Virginian Todd Crenshaw of Winchester,

Danny Bouc of Plumsteadville, Pa., Andrew Swisher of West Chester,

Pa., and Justin Gumley of Howell, N.J. are among the kart favorites.
