Well, last year I thought that any exposure that the modifieds got had to be a good thing. I think maybe I was wrong. I'd rather watch a demo derby.

26 starters - top 20 from time trials, rest from provisionals. No heat races this year - would have been nice to at least have a consi if they are sending 5 cars home.

I actually have to applaud NASCAR for cutting the field to 26. Should help make the race go a little moore smoothly.A majority of regular WMT car owners I've spoken to in the past are in favor of smaller starting fields anyway.24 cars on short tracks and 28 at NHMS is fine(see last Sept race).BASH @ the beach should be a invitational anyway(as NHMS expo in July will be).GARONTEEE that race will be ALOT better! At least its on a REAL race track where the guys and gals wrentcing the cars can actually see some of the race.
