Don't be too shocked if all NASCAR feeder divisions are dissed. I would love to see him get in, doubt that he will and hope that I'm wrong.

I don't think he will get in until the 2nd or 3rd year on the ballot.

He is absolutely deserving, but with the current way they do it (add 5 nominees each year), I see no one getting in their first year of eligibility. I view it almost like baseball where no one gets a unanimous pass...

Let me say it a little differently - there is no way a 'non-Cup' driver gets in his first try.

I really don't expect any other modified driver other than Richie ever to get in. I'm not saying that Mike Stefanik or Jerry Cook or anyone else, for that matter, is not deserving. I'm just saying that I would be very pleasantly shocked it it were ever to happen.

Anyone that's on the nominating roster is going to get in eventually. It make take a bunch of tries, but they're going to get in.
