Unfortunately for the third time in the last five weeks that racing at Spencer Speedway was called off due to late afternoon rain on Friday, June 13th.

“We just are not making out really well with Mother Nature this year,” stated race director Larry Steurrys. “Plans are in the works to make up the Twin 20 lappers for the Sunoco Modifieds. The exact date is yet to be determined.”

Next Friday, June 20th, the NYS Super Stocks return to Spencer for their second appearance of the year. They will be competiting in a 25-lap feature race. They join a regular program of Sunoco Modifieds, Super Sixes, 4-Cylinder Scorpions and INEX Legends. Race time starts at 7:30 p.m. sharp.

Spencer Speedway is located just fifteen minutes east of Rochester, NY, along Route 104 in the Town of Williamson. Spencer Speedway is the local “ NASC AR Place to Race” for Central New York in 2014. Points earned each week at Spencer are counted into the national NASC AR Whelen All-American Points.
