Adult General Admission is $10
After a stretch of 11 straight weeks, Mahoning Valley Speedway saw only its third cancellation of the 2014 season last Saturday night. The evening off was a blessing in disguise as although rain never really hit the speedway, it served as a much needed break to all.
Now it’s back to business with a complete six division card of stock car racing which includes Modifieds, Late Models, Street Stocks, Dirt Mods, Pro 4s and Hobby Stocks plus the ATQMRA TQ Midgets are on the speed-bill and at a discounted price. Adult general admission for this Saturday, August 9 is just $10. $2.00 off for students, seniors 65 + and active military. Must have ID. Children 10 and under are free. Kids Big Wheel races will also take place during intermission.
All divisions will run heats and regular distance features which include 35 laps for the Modifieds, 30 laps for the Street Stocks, 25 laps each for the Late Models and Dirt Mods and 20 lappers for the Pro 4s and Hobby Stocks. The TQ’s will battle in a 25 lap main.
Pit gates open at noon. There will be early paid practice from 1:00 to 3:00. Regular warm-ups will be held from 4:00 – 5:00. Adult general admission is $12.
