Waterford Speedbowl cancelled its
NASCAR Whelen All-American Series racing program scheduled for Saturday,
September 6 due to weather forecasts calling for heavy rains to move
through at show time. No make-up date is planned. No reschedule date for
the visiting NEMA Lite division, which was scheduled for Saturday’s event
card, was immediately available. NASCAR Whelen All-American Series racing
returns to the shoreline oval next Saturday, September 13.
The next event at the Speedbowl is Sunday’s Motor Jam 2014 featuring the
area’s largest custom car show plus on-track activities which include
spectator drags, burn-out competition, vintage auto racing exhibition,
motorcycle stunts, live music and more. The show runs from 11:00am until
5:00pm.
Wild ‘n Wacky Wednesday returns for its final mid-week racing program of
the season this coming Wednesday, September 10.
