For the second consecutive Saturday,
Waterford Speedbowl cancelled its scheduled NASCAR Whelen All-American
Series racing program due to weather. Racing will return to the shoreline
oval next Saturday, September 20 for its regularly scheduled event.
NASCAR Whelen All-American Series racing will be joined by a special
50-lap INEX Legend Cars race, giving the winner a starting position in the
annual Legend Cars Nationals event at Las Vegas Motor Speedway’s Bullring,
held October 16-18. The NEMA Lite series, originally scheduled on
September 6, will also join the Speedbowl’s September 20 racing card.
