Steady afternoon rains forced the cancellation of the Seneca Resorts & Casinos Saturday Night Stock Car program for June 20 at Lancaster National Speedway.
Next up on the stock car is schedule is this Thursday's "Ol' Boy" Cup 60 for the Race of Champions Modified Tour presented by Quaker Steak & Lube. The ground-pounding Modifieds return to Lancaster for the first time in 2015 with all the stars from the RoC Tour. The Big 10 Super Stock Series, 4-Cylinders and the Midstate Vintage Stock Car Club will also be in action. Grandstand gates open at 5:30 PM with racing beginning at 7 PM. The night will be capped off with a huge fireworks display.
Saturday night racing resumes on June 27 with the X-Press Signs Late Model headlining the program. The full-fendered fiberglass warriors will be making their first visit of the season. The Sportsman, Street Stocks and TQ Midgets will be on hand as well. Racing starts at 6:30 PM.
Founded in 1959, Lancaster National Speedway is a multi-use facility located on 77 acres just outside of metropolitan Buffalo, NY.
