The forecast of showers and heavy rain moving in this past Saturday for the New England area forced Monadnock Speedway to cancel their race event slated for June 27th. This is the second week in row where Mother Nature has been the victor at the high banked track.
This Saturday, Monadnock Speedway will be back in action hosting the very popular Firecracker 100 featuring the Valenti Modified Racing Series, the speedway's weekly divisions plus the best fireworks display in the region. Race time is scheduled to start one hour earlier at 5pm. Discounted advance tickets are available until Wednesday, July 1st.
The Open Track Party/Heroes of Yester-Year that was scheduled for this past Saturday will be held on Saturday, July 11th. The double features that were also scheduled for June 27th for the Sportsman Modifieds, Super Stocks and Thunder Stocks have been rescheduled to August 1st.
