Fans receive $5 off admission to "Christmas in July" night with donation
Lancaster National Speedway & Dragway will be on holding a United States Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots drive on Saturday, July 25 as part of "Christmas in July" night for the Seneca Resorts & Casinos Saturday Night Stock Car program.
Fans attending the races that night will receive $5.00 off grandstand admission with the donation of a new, unwrapped toy (one discount per general admission). Members of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve will be on hand to collect the toys on behalf of Toys for Tots.
The toy drive will be part of the "Christmas in July" themed night on July 25. Lancaster National Speedway & Dragway will be getting its Christmas decorations out of storage to create a festive atmosphere, plus there are reports of a special visitor from the North Pole that evening.
The on-track action that night will be headlined by the Tom "Golden Wheels" Agen Memorial for the Street Stocks. This event pays tribute to former Street Stock competitor, Tom Agen, Sr., who passed away suddenly in May 2010. The Sportsman, 4-Cylinders and TQ Midgets will also be in competition. Racing starts at 6:30 PM. Regularly priced general admission is $12 and children 12 and under are free.
Founded in 1959, Lancaster National Speedway is a multi-use facility located on 77 acres just outside of metropolitan Buffalo, NY. The facility features a 1/8-mile drag, a 5/8-mile oval track and hosts several non-motorsports events such as car shows and concerts.
