Three of Wall Stadium Speedway’s most popular divisions, the Elite Maintenance Limited Late Models, the Green Flag Driving Experience Legend Cars and the O’Shea’s Auto Repair Factory Stocks will battle in twin main events at Wall Stadium Speedway this Saturday night (August 29). The Snap-on Sportsman division is also scheduled for a single main event. Officials say that qualifying will begin at 5:30 p.m. and main event racing will follow.

As the regular season races towards its September 26 conclusion the point races are tight in each division making the twin main events more important than ever.

In the Limited Late Model division Anthony Crimaldi of Port Monmouth is at the top of the rankings but former champs Howie Conk of Jackson and Brian Doyle of Ronkonkoma, NY are close behind. The first Limited Late Model main event will be a 35-lapper, their second “Triple Crown” race of the season. The second main event will go 25 laps.

Defending Legend Cars champ Brian Spencer of Edison is looking for a second straight crown but is followed closely by Wall’s Robert French and Nick Van Wickle for their twin 25-lappers. Every point matters in the Factory Stock ranks going into twin 25-lap races as Union’s Joey Helberg leads Joe Mongeau and Ronnie Mullen, both of Brick, and defending champ Scott Riggleman of Manchester.

The Sportsman main event is also pivotal as Andrew Krause of Holmdel, defending champ Kevin Davison and Chris Lane, both of Howell, and Manchester’s Shanon are knotted at the top of the standings.

Saturday’s schedule will see the competitor pit area open at 1:00 p.m. Regular practice will start at 3:00 p.m., while spectator seating will open at 5:00 p.m. Qualifying starts at 5:30 p.m. with main events to follow.
