It’s the final weekend of racing in August and Mahoning Valley Speedway will end the month with a generous helping of stock car action.
Not only will all six regular track classes be set for racing but there will also be a Small Car Enduro plus the rain-postponed Hobby Stock feature from July 18.
The 15-lap make-up Hobby Stock feature will roll out first when racing begins at 6:00 pm. Immediately thereafter heats will get underway for the Modifieds, Late Models, Street Stocks, Dirt Mods, Pro 4s and Hobby Stocks.
After all features the Small Car Enduro will begin. It is mandatory that all Enduro cars have a window net and five point harness in order to compete.
Kids Big Wheel Races will also take place during intermission.
Early paid practice will be held from 12:30 to 3:00. Regular practice begins at 4:00. Main gates open at 4:00 pm. Adult general admission is $12. $2 off for students, seniors 65+ and active military. Must have ID. Children 10 years old and under are free.
Fans are reminded to partake in the weekly $50 cash Gary Lee’s Brown Daub KIA Wheel Spin just by purchasing the track’s Thunder in the Valley program book.

Coming up on Saturday, Saturday, September 5 will be the Annual Mike Krempasky Street Stock Memorial Triple 19s. Three 19-lap features will be held along with all regular track classes. The first race of the Triple 19s is also the third leg of the American Rental Street Stock Gamblers Series.
