35-time race winning racecar driver Ken Matlach will bring his A.W. Meyer Co. Inc. No. 34 Modified stock car to “OcTOOLberfest” here on Saturday, October 3. The event honors the men and the women of the Armed Forces with 5% of all DeWalt purchases going directly to the Wounded Warrior Project.
New Jersey’s #1 Tool Event begins on Thursday, October 1 from 11:00 a.m. until 7 p.m., continues on Friday, October 2 from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. and concludes on Saturday, October 3 from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Matlach will be on hand to sign autographs, pose for photos and point out the finer points of his 500 horsepower stock car all day on Saturday.
A.W. Meyer has been the home of OcTOOLberfest for the past 31 years. The annual event has become an industry tradition and, according to vendors, is “the best selling show in the business.” Over 75 manufacturers will be demonstrating their products and introducing their newest items. OcTOOLberfest is New Jersey’s largest tool event offering three days of fun and great values.
“OcTOOLberfest is an amazing event,” Matlach, who competes at Wall Stadium Speedway in Wall, New Jersey, said. “It is just unbelievable! Any make or type of tool that anyone could use is offered there and will be demonstrated by the manufacturers. All the manufacturers are a part of it and the values on tools are just amazing!
“I am really thrilled to be a part of it all by having our A.W. Meyer No. 34 on display. If it wasn’t for A.W. Meyer there would be no Matlach Motorsports!”
