2015 champions to be saluted November 13 & 14
Lancaster National Speedway & Dragway officials have secured a location and dates for the 2015 awards banquets for the drag racing and stock car programs, to salute the track champions and celebrate a rewarding season that launched the rebirth of the Western New York racing facility.
The banquets will take place November 13 & 14, 2015 at the The Backstage Pub located a 603 Dingens St. in Cheektowaga, N.Y. The Backstage Pub is located adjacent to the Best Western Plus Galleria Inn & Suites.
The 2015 champions for the Franco's Pizza Friday Night IHRA Drag Racing Program will be honored on Friday, November 13. The Seneca Resorts & Casinos Saturday Night Stock Car Program will salute their track champs the following night. Both banquets will start at 6:30 PM, with dinner served at 7 PM, followed by their respective awards ceremonies. Both evenings will capped off with entertainment provided by a live DJ and dancing.
Tickets for both banquets go on sale Monday, October 12 through the Lancaster website (www.lancasternationalspeedway.com). You can order them directly through the website or print an order form that can be mailed to the speedway office. The cost for tickets are $40 for adults and $15 for students ages 5-12.Tickets include three hours of open bar, including mixed drinks, domestic beer and house wine. Tickets sales end at 11:59 PM on Wednesday, November 11.
Banquet attendees can stay overnight at the Best Western Galleria Inn & Suites at a discounted rate of $85 per night. Anyone interested must use the group code "Lancaster Speedway/Backstage Pub" when making their reservation.
Founded in 1959, Lancaster National Speedway is a multi-use facility located on 77 acres just outside of metropolitan Buffalo, NY. The facility features a 1/8-mile drag, a 5/8-mile oval track and hosts several non-motorsports events such as car shows and concerts.
