Lancaster National Speedway & Dragway is eager to hit the ground running for the 2016 season. Preparations for the upcoming season are already under way as dates have been set for key preseason functions.

The Lancaster stock car program will hold its meetings for its three weekly divisions December 8-10, 2015 at the Dutch Mill Restaurant, located at 5259 Broadway in Lancaster. The Sportsman meeting will take on place on Tuesday, December 8, followed by the Street Stock meeting the next day and the 4-Cylinder meeting on December 10. All meetings will begin promptly at 6 p.m. Because of limited space, we are hosting only owners, drivers and crew chiefs to discuss rules, scheduling and other topics.

An additional meeting has been added for the Late Models on Monday, December 14 at 6 p.m. also at the Dutch Mill. The Late Models are looking to build on their successful four-race series at Lancaster this past season that was supported by a solid core of locally-based teams.

The 2016 preseason registration party for both the stock cars and drag racers will take place on Sunday, February 28, 2016 at 2 p.m. at the Variety Banquet Hall at 6114 Broadway in Lancaster. Racers will be able to register their cars, purchase memberships and reserve pit pads.

Lancaster National Speedway & Dragway management is pleased to announce that their will not be an increase in pricing for driver memberships or pit pad fees for the 2016 season.

The 2016 season at Lancaster National Speedway & Dragway kicks off April 16 & 17 with the season opening events for both programs. The drag racers get things going on Saturday, April 16 with a Box/No-Box Shootout followed by the stock car season opener featuring the Race of Champions Modified Series the following day on Sunday, April 17.

Additional details surrounding the 2016 season will be announced in the near future.
