I know its been reported on a lot of other sites today but I thought it would only be appropriate to pay tribute here too. I was more than a little stunned upon hearing the news. My inner self reverted back to being a 9 yr old hanging out at the Seekonk Speedway for a little bit today. I remember meeting Ron and getting an autograph in the pits after a Sunday race. I remember the heroes welcome Seekonk gave him the year after he won Talladega. He was on the back of a flatbed waving to the crowd as he received a justly deserved standing ovation. Classic, local boy makes it to the big time story. I remember some of the outstanding mod races in Connecticut as well as losing the TV feed when he won Dega. My prayers go out to his family and friends. Thanks for all the memories Mr. Bouchard. Feel free to share some of your Ronnie Bouchard stories.

Dale Jr. put out a nice tweet today regarding Ron's passing. Class act.
