Prior to last Sunday’s “Hailstorm”, Evergreen Raceway announced that the speedway would honor other tracks pit licenses for the day. With the threat of inclement weather, some racers missed out on the Evergreen experience, while others experienced four seasons in one afternoon.

Evergreen track officials have decided to extend that invitation for this Sunday, meaning that any person with a 2016 pit license from any speedway is invited into the pit area for $30, instead of the regular $40 fee for not having an Evergreen pit license.

Furthermore, both 4-cylinder drivers are invited to compete with the regular Four Cylinder division for the remainder of the season. The Enduro drivers must race under the speedway’s Enduro rules and the highest finishing Enduro driver in the Four Cylinder feature will receive a first place trophy. Of course all of the drivers that start the feature will receive a payout based on where they finish.

The same invitation is extended to the 6/8-cylinder Enduro drivers, except they will compete with the Factory Stocks.

The Tour Type Modifieds are making their way back to Evergreen Raceway for round number two of a seven race series this season. The 50-lap show has been marked on the calendars of many hotshoes for months and both fans and officials are looking forward to a terrific showing. The Late Models, Street Stocks, Factory Stocks and Four Cylinders are also on the card for the afternoon, which will make up a total of 145 green flag laps of feature racing!

The grandstands will open at 11 AM, with practice starting at 12:30 PM. Heat races will kick off an 2 PM. Grandstand admission is just $15 and children 10 years of age and younger will be admitted for free.
