A weather forecast that is calling for thunder storms beginning at 1:00 pm and then evening rain afterwards has prompted Mahoning Valley Speedway to cancel tonight’s races for July 30.
This was the fifth rain cancellation the track has had this season.
Saturday, August 6, the speedway will present a regular show of Modifieds, Street Stocks, Dirt Mods, Pro 4s, and Hobby Stocks plus the Micro Stocks will join in on the action.
The Late Models have the night off.
Also added to next Saturday’s card will be a Car Cruise. Anyone with a classic/rod/custom car or truck will be admitted free to the races for the evening and during intermission will also take a cruise around the track. All vehicles affiliated with the Car Cruise will be on display prior to the night’s action getting underway.
Adult general admission is $12. There is a $2 discount for students, seniors 65+ and active Military. Grandstands open at 4:00 pm and racing begins at 6:00. Warm-ups will get underway at 4:00.
For those who wish to partake in early paid practice pits will open at 11:30 am with track time beginning at 12:30.
