A forecast for persistent rain showers throughout Saturday afternoon and evening has forced Lancaster National Speedway officials to cancel the stock car program for Saturday, August 13.
Stock car racing will resume on Saturday, August 20 with the 27th Annual Tommy Druar/Tony Jankowiak Memorial Modified 110 for the Race of Champions Modified Series. The groundpounders will battle it out for 110 laps in the third Modified race of 2016 at Lancaster. Teams will use the inner-oval for live pit stops.
The Advance Auto Parts Street Stocks, Roaming Buffalo 4-Cylinder and NYPA TQ Midgets will also be in action. Racing will begin an hour earlier at 5:30 p.m. Adult general admission tickets are just $20, kids 12-17 are $10 and under 12 are free.
