With at least nine cancelled events this season, many of which included the Dirt Modified division, Evergreen Raceway has decided to add the Dirt Modifieds to their next two Enduro shows, which are slated for September 4 and October 2.

Both of the dates are in conjunction with the track’s regular Enduro dates and the September 4 show is named “A September to Remember”, in memory of long time Evergreen patron, Butch Barry. A 35-lap Pro Stock Memorial event will take place that afternoon.

The Dirt Modifieds and Pro Stocks will run heat races, followed by their features. The Open Comp cars will take to the track as well before the start of the official Enduro program, which will consist of Four Cylinder, 6/8-Cylinder and Redneck Reverse Enduro events. The Enduro events will be held rain or shine and if the Pro Stock and Dirt Modified portion of the show gets rained out, they will be run on October 2.

The track is hosting a $10 discount for Enduro pre-registration. The form is on the speedway website and must be mailed in, along with the $40 pre-registration fee. Drivers will start straight up as they pre-register, or of course register at the track on race day for $50, and they will start behind the pre-registered drivers. The transponder rental fee is $10. Drivers racing in more than one division will be charged the $10 fee and $5 for each additional division for the rental fee. Pit admission is set at $25. There is no Pro Stock or Dirt Modified registration fee. The pit gates will swing open at 10:00 AM and the afternoon of events will kick off at 1 PM.

Drivers from the Street Stock division are invited to complete with the Pro Stocks, if they choose to do so.

All of the rules, info and the pre-registered drivers are listed on the speedway website.

The grandstands are slated to open at 12 noon and grandstand admission is just $5. Children 10 years of age and younger will be admitted for FREE.
