Ricky Yetter led a lot Sunday afternoon at Evergreen Raceway.

Not only did he win the 25-lap Dirt Modified feature, Yetter also took home the 30-lap open-comp event to make it two wins the on the day and three overall with a heat victory.

In his swan-song season, he drove away from Nick Ross in the 30-lap open comp feature and wasted no time grabbing the top spot and building a comfortable lead over Ross’s No. 99 late model. With five laps to go, Yetter’s gap was more than a half-straightaway before Mike Pollack’s No. 51 machine went around with two laps to go bunching up the field for a green-white-checkered. Yetter got the jump and never looked back to make it the first of two wins on the day.

The total domination didn’t stop there after leading flag-to-flag in the Dirt Mod feature. John Banashefski finished second while Rich Coons took his No. 27 Dirt Mod behind the wall after the first lap. Yetter led all 10 laps in the heat before taking the checkered flag in the feature making it three feature wins over a span of two days for the Easton, Pa. driver.

Blaine Barry honored his dad in the best way possible by winning the Pro Stock feature in his No. 67 machine eventually pulling away from Mike Pollack to score the victory. Barry spun on lap 2 as both drivers beat-and-banged a lap after the restart before Barry got the lead for good.

Once racing resumed, the green flag flew on the 100 lap 4-cylinder Enduro feature with cars lining up three-by-three in 13 rows throughout the 41-car field. Jay Kanor started on pole but Ed Spencer III got out front early and held it there for the first 20 laps. Snowball Enduro winner Pete Verwys began to run down Spencer’s No. 24 Enduro in heavy lapped traffic as Verwys made the pass for the lead. Tony Rispin got by Verwys a few laps later before going behind the wall around the 40-lap mark. From there, it was all Verwys en route to winning the 100-lap event. Mark Hammer finished second while Luke Hoffner came home third. Both Verwys and Hammer were the only cars to finish on the lead lap.

The 6/8-cylinder Enduro event capped off the afternoon with few 4-cylinder cars opting to run the race. TJ Kapish led all 25 laps to take the feature. Brandon Oltra won the reverse enduro.
