WHAT: Lancaster National Speedway will crown its 2016 track champions and then host it's biggest event of the season, the 28th annual U.S. Open, during a four-day stretch that begins Thursday night.
WHERE: Lancaster National Speedway & Dragway - 57 Gunnville Rd., Lancaster, N.Y.
WHO: Over 150 racers from across New York, Pennsylvania, Ontario and beyond are expected to compete during Western New York's biggest stock car racing event of the year. Fans started camping on Tuesday for the event (see attached picture).
WHEN: Thursday, September 22 - Season Championship Night - Racing starts at 7 p.m.

Friday, September 23 - practice starts at 6:30 p.m. followed by U.S. Open Kickoff Party - Free grandstand admission
Saturday, September 24 - Racing starts at 4:30 p.m. for Sunoco Sportsman, Super Stocks, Roaming Buffalo 4-Cylinders & NYPA TQ Midgets
Sunday, September 25 - Racing starts at 2 p.m. headlined by the U.S. Open 125 for the Race of Champions Modified Series plus Advance Auto Parts Street Stocks and X-Press Signs Late Models.
