Due to inclement weather and flooded grounds, Holland International Speedway management was forced to cancel the Memorial Day Weekend racing festivities.
“All tickets that were dated for tonight will be valid for next Saturday, June 3” comments Holland Speedway’s, Dan Sellon. Next Saturday, Holland will join the #NASCARSalute to the troops with our Military Appreciation Night. Without the sacrifice of the men and women who selflessly defend our great nation, we wouldn’t be able to enjoy racing every year, the way we do. All veterans will receive FREE admission with ID, and $5 admission for their family members. It will also be WNY Pet Night at the speedway. Bring a blanket, treat, toy, or other pet donation and receive $5 admission as well, thanks to Home Away From Home Kennels.
Holland’s historic 58th season continues next Saturday, June 3 as the Bank of Holland Chargers will be featured in a 50 lap feature. A full card of Pro Modifieds, NYPA TQ Midgets, INEX Legends, Hornets, Figure 8’s, and Super Sixes will all be in action. Next Saturday will also feature the traditional Bank of Holland Gold Rush, Kids Rides and it is Super Hero Night! Pit gates will open at 4:15 pm in the pits, grandstand gates open at 5:45 pm with qualifying heats starting at 6:00 pm sharp with NASCAR feature racing getting underway at 7:05 pm.
