Wall Stadium Speedway has announced that an early afternoon paid practice session is being offered this Saturday, July 1. Pit area gates will open at noon on Saturday with the practice session running from 1:00 p.m. until 3 p.m. The regularly scheduled practice and the evening’s racing events will follow.
The birthday of our nation will then be the focus on Saturday Night as enthusiasts will be rewarded with a 40-lap race for the Freehold Ford Modified stock cars and 25-lappers for the Snap On Sportsman racers, Surfside Collision 4 Cylinder Stocks, Elite Maintenance Limited Late Models and the O’Shea’s Auto Repair Factory Stocks. The touring TQ Midgets will also battle on the speedway’s inner oval in a 25-lap race. Grandstand seating will open at 5:00 p.m. and qualifying is set for 5:45 p.m. Main event racing will follow at 7:00 p.m.
Veterans and active military, with proper id, will be admitted free in honor of their service and the Independence Day weekend. In addition, Red White and Blue BBQ Night will feature a free bandana for fans while supplies last, special food items at the refreshment stands and country music on the public address system.
Wall Stadium presents professional motorsports events on Saturdays and Sundays during the summer months. The speedway is located on Route 34 in Wall Township, N.J., just one mile north of Garden State Parkway exit 98 and Interstate 195 exit 35B.
