Double prize money will be on the line for super-modified
and late model drivers and double feature races are on a big schedule for
fans this Friday night at Lee USA Speedway.

Super-modifieds will run in qualifying heats plus two 30-lap feature
events, each paying $1,000 to the winner. It will be the only time this
season for twin feature races, which also award NASCAR championship points.

The first super-modified main event will follow heat races in Lee's
Hobby stock, pure stock and Ironmen divisions. The second 30-lap super-mod
feature will get the green flag following qualifiers in several divisions.

The lineup for the first 30-lap super-mod main event is already set
with Jim Barker, of Meredith, N.H., and Groveland's Pat Murphy making

up the front row. John Burke, of Derry, N.H., and Haverhill's Tommy
Tombarello are in the second row and Mike Spurling, of Rochester, N.H.,
starts third row alongside Leslie Keyser, Northfield, N.H.

Other drivers in the top 12 spots are Mike Keddy, Raymond, N.H.;

Dave Helliwell of Salem; Moe Lattime of Kingston, Mike Netishen of Auburn;
Mike Murphy, Greenland, N.H., and Steve Duphily, grandson of super-modified
Hall-of-Famer Vic,Miller, Plaistow, N. H.

Late Model Sportsmen cars also will run two 30-lap feature races
making Friday's program the biggest this weekend in New England. The 18-car
field is already qualified with Max Dolliver, Kingston, N.H., and Jason
Ryan, Salem, N.H., on the front row.

Friday night also is "Autograph Night" with youngsters allowed on
the speedway to meet their favorite drivers. In addition, Friday also
is "EI Camino Night" with all Chevy EI Caminos allowed on the track to

be introduced to the crowd and participate in a parade around the speedway.
