Wall Stadium Speedway officials were forced to cancel the scheduled Saturday night (Sept. 2) auto racing program when rain arrived in the area during the afternoon and the forecast promised more rain for the evening.
Racing returns this Saturday night. The September 9 card will feature the Freehold Ford Modifieds in twin 40-lap feature races and the Snap-on Sportsman cars, the Elite Maintenance Limited Late Models and the Green Flag Driving Experience Legend Cars all in 25-lap main events. The open Cockpit TQ Midgets will also be on the card in a 25-lapper on the “inner oval.”
Saturday’s schedule will see the competitor pit area open at 1:00 p.m. Regular practice will start at 3:00 p.m., while spectator seating will open at 5:00 p.m. Qualifying for the night’s program starts at 5:45 p.m. and main events will follow at 7:00 p.m.
