The Freehold Ford Modified stock cars will take center stage at Wall Stadium this Saturday night (Sept. 9) as they compete in “Twin 40” lap main events. Also seeing action will be the Snap-On Sportsman cars, the Elite Maintenance Limited Late Models and the Green Flag Driving Experience Legend Cars all in 25-lap main events on the third mile high banked paved oval. In addition the visiting open cockpit TQ Midgets are set for a pair of 25-lappers on the “inner oval,” one originally scheduled and one rain postponed from earlier this season. The Sunday Series Microstocks will also compete in the “inner oval.”

Grandstand seating will open at 5:00 p.m. and qualifying is set for 5:45 p.m. The evening’s main event action will follow around 7:00 p.m.

Defending Modified champion Steven Reed of Jackson will lead the way for the two races with expected competition coming from point leader and recent “Garden State Classic” and “Woody's 105” winner Jimmy Blewett of Howell, Andrew Krause of Holmdel, Manchester’s Shanon Mongeau, Derek Hopkinson of Toms River and Blake Barney of Jackson, just to name a few. With the 2017 regular season title chase entering the final September stretch these twin races take are crucial.
