Jaws, what are you talking about?? NASCAR never said the were sending the Dodgevision truck and trailer there for every Saturday night Cup race. They said they were going to try it during the year at 2 facilities Riverhead and Irwindale. I don't know if that's going to happen but that was what they proposed.

Hey Mod Princess, hows the non day care teacher life treating you?

Probably not going to Riverhead this week.

By the way Christian went to his first race last week(Orange County). He had a blast! One of the Pro Stocks went throught the fence and took out a bunch of stuff!!

As for the TV screen, last I looked they were supposed to be one on nights there is a Nextel cup race and there is one this week, There has been no hint of a big screen. If one was coming the track would be all over it. Unless you know something I dodn't.

Again Jaws if you read my post, they said Dodgevision was going to be tested at these two facilities. They never said EVERY Sat. Night Cup Race. I think if anything they'll wait until it gets warmer out so they can test it with some people in the crowd. If they show up this week and show it to a 1000 people it'll be a waste of money. Maybe we'll get it for the Pepsi 400, from Daytona. When the place is packed and it looks good for the promoters. I don't really have any inside info but if I hear anything I'll be sure to post it.

By the way how did we get from rain, no rain to the big screen TV. Personally I could not care less about watching a Nextel Cup race the race at Riverhead. :-|

I have a PVR. Much better to see it at home after the races or on Sunday. If I go to the track I go to see the mods!!!

Right Mod Princess!!!!!

I would rather see the real thing also...
Fans might prefer to plop down in front of their big screen given the choice.
I think NASCAR is giving the screws to their "weekly series" track operators by putting up competion for their market.

Just my $.02

Just making an observation.
