Hey Billy and anyone who wants to add their 2 cents,
I was thinking (uh oh!)…For the upcoming Big Dog…why not do the tennis ball thing (Mountain Speedway Lottery) with them this week (the last time the mods do it for the year)? Here’s the scoop though. Last week NAPA donated a football to give away. Before the races my son asked Donny (Hartzell) to sign it because he was the winner the previous week. After the second feature the winner was to throw the ball out to the crowd. Wouldn’t ya know, Donny won, which made it that much more exciting.
So, how about for this week we ask all the drivers to quickly sign something (instead of a football?) right after the drivers meeting…or pass it around during. The winner of the lottery can win a different prize instead of a pair of tickets for the week. What do ya think? Maybe instead of a football, it can be a framed picture of the Big Dog ad with autographs?
If you all agree with the ad signing, Joan from the photo booth has agreed to print an 11x17 ad to use for the drivers to sign. Thanks for the offer!
Also, thanks to Tim Santee (also Happy Birthday) for giving away items last week to the fan that caught the X6 tennis ball!
