Good article.. but can someone clarify something in the article for me. Did the Cromarty's own the Amityville horror house? and was it before or after the De Feo horror ? here is what i was refering to ?

Mendelsohn died in 1974. Three years later, Barbara and Jim Cromarty became Islip's promoters. The couple, who purchased The Amityville Horror house the same year they took over at Islip, ran shows at Islip and Riverhead until Islip closed in 1984.

They owned it after the De Feo family. They owned the house when the first Amity Horror movie was released without permission from the Cromartys. It was sold later many disturbances from it.
