Check out the photos, half the track is under water, due to the rain we've had the past few days in the northeast. Checking Weather Bug, the rain will not let up for the next few days. I'm on vacation all week too :O(

You were only suppose to look at first picture. lol.

The second one is my buddy Josh at The Wave with his band Edison Glass who are signed with EMI. :O)

Surprised no one said "Boy, Pete must have been bored!" lol, I watched the Islanders today in a losing effort. Now I have to watch game 5 tonight, GO YANKS! :)

Pete, I gather you don't recall years back when Islip Speedway was under water. No one believed they would ever get the racing going that Saturday night. They broaught in about a half dozen pumps and pumped the track dry. Those were the days when nothing but a downpour stopped racing. Any old timers out there that recall this?

Or the time the Connecticut River went over its banks due to snow melting in the spring and Riverside Park Speedway was totally full of water to the walls, it even made Stock Car Racing magazine....

That was the 1977 "300" at Islip I think. I was there that day. Pretty good job by the Cromarty's. There were pictures of/from it in the following years "300" program, which I still have and my kids cannot stop looking at.
