i was going through some websites and came across pictures from the late 80's early 90's of racecars and i forgot how cool those cars used to look compaired to the cars now so if anyone has any pics of old long island racecars please post because i use the ideas for models and drawings when im bored and it would also bring back some cool old memories that we can all talk about

A great site for Long Island cars is www.thehimesmuseum.com. Go to the Photo section. There are Midgets, TQs, Figure 8 & old Stock Cars from Islip, Freeport & Riverhead.

I dug up my old photo albums and scanned a few pictures I had collected. Come winter, a good friend of mine has TONS of pictures that he said I could scan for the JAM. His collection is awesome as I already saw it at the track this year. Sorry for watermark but there are some out there that like to take pictures for their own websites without permission.

that looks simple to build that car?(I know different)talk about old race cars, i stopped at george leblancs store/museum today in staten island he really has a great arrangement of vintage 40's, 50's, 60's, 70's race cars, go karts, soapbox derby cars, schwin bicycles, parts,weissglass speedway memoribilia, and a genuine knowledgable guy about racing.
