This is for anyone and everyone who wants to do it, I stole the idea from another forum....sssshhhhh!!

Just for fun, what was the first car you ever owned?

Mine was a 1977 Monte Carlo, powder blue with a white top  .....I sold it after having it for 4 years for $500! Of course that was BR (before racing) if I knew then what I know now..... :applause:

I had a 1989 chevy cavalier, it was blue. My dad gave me the car the day I turned 16. I got my permit when I turned 16, actually that is a lie, it was 2 days after I turned 16 because I failed the permit test on the day of my birthday. I got my actual license on Oct 13 and it didn't take me anything more than 4 months to total that car!

My first car was a 68' Barracuda, 340 4 barrel. 7 coats of black laquer.
I had to deliver a lot of newspapers and mow many lawns to be able to buy this car when I was 15 years old.

My first car was a 4 door 1965 Ford Falcon that I got off of my Dad.

After that:
1965 Buick Skylark
1973 Duster 340 4 speed- - -also a Market Street Bridge runner
1965 Impala SS Convertible 327 auto- - -boy I wish I had that back
1968 GTO 400 his & hers auto
1967 Nova SS 327 powerglide
1971 Barracuda
1972 Gran Torino Sport 351 Cleveland and a top loader 4 speed

I gave the Torino to Reed Witner in 1989 to use as a street stock and stuffed the Cleveland and 4 speed into a 1970 Maverick which I still have.

Also have a brand new, somewhat useless, Pro Stock.

3. 1999 Ford Ranger 2 wheel drive
4cyl, 5 speed, red with grey interior. this truck was the basic of basic trucks. it was also the truck that i taught myself how to drive stick on. i had this nice new truck for about 9 months till i traded it in with moms car (it was in her name, i was too young to buy a new truck) she bought herself a new car and i bought # 4.

4. 1989 Ford F-250 xlt 4x4
8cyl (302), 5 speed, black with grey interior. i loved this truck, i use to take it everywhere and do anything with it, beach, snow, mudding etc. this truck was reliable and good to me. i sold it one day when it got totaled while it was parked. it was sent 15 on to the curb. i bought it back from the insurance company and sold it to buy #5.

5. 1995 Ford Bronco xlt 4x4
8cyl (302), 5 speed, black with grey interior. this truck was good to me i did it all to this truck from custom exhaust, to lift kit, and anything you can think off. this truck was awesome to me never let me down. traded it in for #8.

6. 1994 Ford F-250 xlt 4x4
8cyl (460), auto, grey and red two tone with red interior. i had this truck for about 4 months. this truck was purchased as a tow vehicle but had many problems. i sold it for #7.

7. 1996 Ford Mustang gt
8 cyl, 5 speed, black with grey leather interior. nice quick car i still have it, use it when i dont want to drive my truck.

8. 2002 Ford F-250 lariet
8 cyl diesel, 6 speed, black with grey leather interior. this truck is a good strong truck. looks like i will be keeping this truck for a while. be looking for modifications when you see the truck at the track.

i know that you asked what the everyones first car was but i couldn't resist saying all of mine.

My first car was a 1989 Pontiac Sunbird, dark blue where the paint was still clinging on and had smoke to match the color! I drove that untill it had almost 200K on it... Then I put doorbars and a number on it! The 32x Jackie and I drove has been through 2 enduros and still kicks back, sadly though it wouldn't do that when I only had to drive somewhere around the corner from my house...

Here's to 1st cars that make better enduro cars! :applause:

A "rolls can hardly" 4 speed. Really only had one spped......slow. That has to be the worst car to drive on the road. Great demo cars though. It is now resting on a farm as a farm ride.

Have to start off with the beast of all beasts…my first was an ’81 Honda Accord. I think I paid $700 & when I sold it for $500 2 years later it had 265K on it!

Second was my project car, a ’67 Olds Cutlass I found in a field & paid $125 for it. After it was restored I drove it for a while & sold it to some guy who had it trucked to Anaheim, CA. Still miss that one!

Third was an ’89 Mustang GT. Definitely the best ‘sports car’ I’ve had. Beat the snot out of that one, but it was still sweet! Sold it a few years later.

There were many MANY more after that, but those three are the most memorable compared to my current SUV.
