A diesel powered racecar... Hmmm... What advantages could this produce?

All I see was Diesel.. and I said I have a Diesel Silverado 2500 pick-up truck, with a Duramax diesel??

Maybe. But I don't know how well you would compete against those ultra light prototypes... LOL

This isn't a new concept. A diesel powered car with Freddie Agabasian ran in the Indy 500 back in the early 1950's. I believe he won the pole with the Cummings Diesel Special, but I think he fell out towards the end of the race. I would have to do some research on that one.
