Thanks for that Captain! There were more than a few tears spent at Islip that night. Long Live the Memories.
I don't know if Marty Himes comes to this forum, but it's as good as any other time to Thank him for his years of service and dedication to racing on Long Island! Happy New Year all, may you all have a Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Year.

I was talking with Joey Payne about that Islip win and he mentioned that was his first ever career win.

The sign on Route 111 says Bob Park won the last race. But I know the Figure 8's ran after the modifieds, and yes, that race was won by T.K., Tommy Kraft.

The Demo followed, but by the then, the farewell party had begun.
