I am not sure if you noticed, but I destroyed the front of the Diplomat during a BWH incident. I need to re-construct the rad support and would like to know if I can use 1/2" square tubing. I am not trying to "over engineer" the nose, only hang my rad again. If not, what is a "NEET" solution?

Do what you have to. We can tell if it's to hold it in place or if it's over-engineered. 1/2" tubing should be fine.

I spoke to Craig about this..
He does not want to see too much "triangulation" supporting a repair.
Damage repair is one thing...Building a tank is another.
It's a fine line indeed !
