Bike give a ways, etc.

As you all know, the bike give-aways last season were very successful, thanks to many teams and others at Mountain who participated. There’s hope that this season will be even more successful with these types of give-aways for the kids.

The plan for this season is to mix things up a little bit. Along with bikes (every few weeks, for kids that fit in a selected age group), we plan to have other gifts, which will alternate from time-to-time with the bikes. Some of these items will be gift cards from Toys R Us, Wal-Mart, Kmart & even a few Trac Fones for the older, but still young fans (say 13-15 or so) :confused: .

The season is right around the corner; so if any team, sponsor, driver or whomever would like to participate, please post, or let me know by email at gjtost@verizon.net. It would be nice if we can start things off right away with the first race on April 9th.

Just like last season, those who participate will be mentioned over the PA system & in the track program.

Thanks to Frank & Vicki Curtis at Flanders Automotive, along with Donny Oliver, their thriller driver, we’re covered for week #1 this season. :)

These folks are buying bikes and bringing them to the speedway to give away to a lucky boy and girl at intermission.

Just a refresher on how we do it:

All children (9-12 years of age and younger) who attend the track are eligible. The kids fill out a ticket at the photo/souvenir booth. At intermission, a ticket is pulled (and announced) for a boy & a girl. It’s that simple & free of charge, thanks to the many drivers; teams & sponsors who help support Mountain Speedway. :applause: :applause:
