With the forecast the way it is, may be we should start at #7 again.
I do want to recognize Racin Rich Johnson in the #1. I know he was already added to the list, but I couldn't start mine without him. Now for more #1s:
The Kissing Bandit, Rick Gianinno in # 1 and Charlie Brunnhoelzl and Davey Allison in the 01 in the Street Stocks. In the Modifieds there was Tommy Kulesa, Georgie Brunnhoelzl Sr., Les Lee, Ronnie "Soupy Sales" Schwendenmann and on the All Star Racing league Geoff Bodine all in #1. In the Z1 there was Johnny Zeke and Georgie Wagner. The Freeport ARDC Midgets there was the Spotoil Special #1 of Ed "Dutch" Schaeffer. The list of Figure 8ers include: Eddie Dunlop, Fred LaMac, Jimmy Rigney, Mike Pinchuck, Mike Salerno & Spencer Hulse in #1 and Russ Riccardi in #01.
Have a great season to all in the racing community!!! I hope to see you for a few shows at the Head.

As Deborah Fleming(I got the spelling correct?) already pointed out, the number 1 on Long Island begins and ends with Charlie Jarzombek. Other not mentioned that "borrowed" the number include Steve Park and Rick Fuller on the Featherlite/Whelen Modified Series. I also seem to remember Doug Heveron and Doug Meservey running that number at the 'Head, but I am getting old.

If we can put the Ace of Spades under #1, then let's also give a call to Bob Conradis, who used that "number" in the legends division.
