John White Buys Into 2 NY Tracks

I think this is of local interest even though Spencer Speedway and the Chemung Speedrome aren't on Long Island. John White of White Brothers Trucking has bought into Chemung and is involved with the purchase of Spencer Speedway also. This news broke about a "business guy from the Island coming on board" to these tracks on Saturday, but nobody seemed to remember (or want to confirm) his name to post it on another racing message board. This was even after they met him at the Arnot Mall's Chemung Race Car Show last weekend!
I'm assuming a formal press release will be forthcoming......

Thats pretty interesting. I don't know John but assume he has the money to do good things at these 2 tracks.

I'll have to tell you, I have had many conversations with John and his "crew" at Thompson. I hope this is true. A successfull businessman, who has raced and knows how to treat people. Very soft spoken, but knowledgeable.

Yes, this is the correct story. Except the first word should read Spencer, not Sencer.
