This Saturday's "TRUX" exhibition at Mountain will show a bonus of $200 to the winner over and above the regular purse courtesy of Gary Slusser, owner of National Auto Exchange, Berwick, Pa. Gary, driver of the #27 truck, wants to see this class be successful and is putting up the extra "BUX" in hopes to up the truck count this week.
This weeks "TRUX" purse will be based on truck count. 12 or more trucks will make it equal to a Thriller purse ($200 reg + $200 bonus= $400 to win ....less than 12 will be equal to a 4cyl Thriller purse ($150 reg + $200 bonus = $350 to win).
The race itself will be run as a regular Saturday night division....heats, features, yellows, etc.
The purpose is to expose both the drivers to weekly style regular racing and to show the fans this great class of vehicles.
