Another good day of racing ruined by the electronic evil-eye orbital geiger counters................... :disgusted
Get that flop-clock outta retirement, at least we will have back-up the next time those GYRO-GADGETS take a dump on us.................... :*-(
At least, we had half-a-nice day! Poor 4-bangers had soup for their split-pea races......................
Before I go any further, I wanna thank Aaron Miller (#78) and his redneck rocket crew for switching the sneakers on my TRUX............ :applause:
The big car race was a pretty clean affair, too many red flags and couple of hard hits (#86 car into the pit-entrance guardrail); you know that racecar is on its way to china, hehe...................
As usual, I found another way to lose a NEETS race, thanks Bob K., I'm donating my 2nd place purse to your next driving lesson.................
No hard feelings.....good race #5 Tim Pauch and some new top five finishers #33 TJ Kapish/#8 Mike Smith, #72 Mark Paine and #417 Bob Wink.............
Got my first taste of the TRUX series, I must admit, it's harder than it looks, especially if you forget to use 2nd gear, LOL................ :D
The race was red-flag free and #02 Shawn Wanat, #5 John Cozza and #20 "Peaseman" were the first to the checkers.............
Of course, it wouldn't be a NEETS race without a little rain............. :disgusted
After a heavy downpour intermission, the 4cyls. went to work in two separate features.........a wet one and a semi-wet one............. :*-(
#30 Joe Grocholski beat #78Jr Bob Darde and #5t Tim Pauch to the flag in the 50 lap moisture madness.........................
In the dry drive, it was the #61 of Harry Sagar out in front of the #42x of Shawn Wanat and #666 of Duane Garrison at the flag........... :)
The small cars seemed to be a little more racey with split features, less red flags and more racing action...................... :p
Please, everybody take care of yourselves, besides my kids, your the only family I have left.............................. ;)
UNCLE PETEY............................

To be honest with you, I sort of liked only 20 to 30 cars in the 4 cyl race, than the usual 70 something car count. If only my car handled better through the flooded race track. I thought I would have a better chance with my lower horse-powered Escort in the rain, but my front end was toed in so badly that it had virtually no grip on the wet surface. So I slid through the whole turn and couldn't see anything at all going down the back stretch, being I had no windshield wipers and the glare was bad. It was fun racing the 17 for nearly 20 laps. I'm not too sure where I finished, since the results are not posted, so if anyone knows where the 1s finished, please let me know.

Thanks,
