Nice site, I saw these guys at the track that night, I normally am not a big fan of bikes, but they put on one hell of a show. I was very impressed.

I for one hope it is true.
This type of "alternative" use of the speedway is going to be a big deal.
Drifting in particular has the promise of saving the track, since it is a HUGE deal.
It is a shame that Riverhead didn't schedule a 4 cyl. Enduro to run after these events, great way to lead all of those tuners onto the Oval.
But maybe next time.
Of course there has been very little press on this thing, so I hope it is given a chance to grow. Get the local tuner clubs involved, do some work along DPA, you get the word out. This would really help with the current street racing problem, might have kept my buddy from getting pinched on the LIE doing 110mph. Nah.... but it is a nice thought.

Yes, to answer your question, it is true. There will be cruise nights on Thursdays. My father is trying to drum up some new things at the track. The reason why nothing was done on the 13th was because it was raining. There were four guys from the city that came out to check it out. They promised my father that they could bring 50 to a 100 people to the track. So this Thursday, the 20th, there will be a cruise night. Hopefully the weather will be nice and we will have a good turn out.

Awesome NYI!

Good to see Riverhead doing more with their facility, especially delivering some fun-filled events...
